[Signal boost] Update on fundraising for computer for disabled friend

If you did not see, I posted yesterday about fundraising for a friend of mine who is disabled, lives in SF on way too little money, and is in need of a new computer because his went toes-up. A very lovely person is donating her older iBook, but we are still looking to get a NEW computer, or a refurb, since as well as writing, Robert does graphics work (and hey, being able to play games would be nice too).

We are at $300 and don't need a whole lot more before we bump into the range of GOOD computers/refurbs. Every little bit helps, but if you are unable to donate, can you please signal boost? TY so much. <3

I donated to Roberts computer fund, and I also sent him a message on facebook to which I have not had a reply. I wanted to send him $150 in the form of a a money order to help him out during this hard time that he is going through.

Been through tough times myself years ago and know how it feels to be totally broke! Now i have a chance to help a little.

I don't know if he has so many messages that he cant read them al, because he does not know me he is hesitant to respond. I know that you are his good friend so perhaps you can let him know what I would like to do. I will be more than happy to give you both my email and phone so you can see I am genuine and not just and internet nutcase!

Actually, the reason he likely hasn't responded is because he has a good amount of difficulty using his phone for internet access. It's another reason why I have been acting as the go-between. :)

If you can email me your phone (mistressnonny@gmail.com) I will pass it on to him so that the two of you can sort things out. :)

I have also contacted the some of the moderators on Wet Canvas to see if we can post the link on the WC forums. They are waiting for a decision from Sarah! (sallspaw) of F+W as they don;t usually allow things like this
