After some negative incidents I've had with people trolling my journal, I've decided to make everything friends only. If you'd like to be added, please comment, and let me know how you found me. :)

Also, please note that I have a filter system for posts. When you comment, please let me know which you'd like to be on. I reserve the right to not put you on one if I'm uncomfortable but I will certainly take everything into account. I put everyone on the Life/General, Writing, and Health filters by default.

I'm pretty open, and there's not much I'm not comfortable with. It's more that I had some people make snarky comments at one point about things they didn't want to see, and while I am no longer friends with those people for other reasons, my anxiety disorder latched onto that and was constantly worried about it. Thus, filters!

Done! I'm pretty comfortable with letting people read pretty much anything. I ran into an issue some years back where some people were snarky about content they didn't want to read. While I'm no longer friends with these people, it's something my anxiety disorder latched onto, and I was scared anytime I posted that I was going to get someone complaining... hence, opt-in filters. :)

It is actually not about my comfort levels so much as it's about having dealt with some snark in the past from people who didn't want to read certain things. Unfortunately, a lot of my anxiety disorder is centered around approval, so it got where I was scared to post anything that wasn't bland and "safe". The people who did it aren't friends anymore, but it just was easier to create filters and ask people what they want to read!

Health issues preclude a lot of it with my husband, and my recently ex-boyfriend, while we still have a FWB thing going on, is not comfortable continuing the D/s relationship. I continue hoping that I will find a play partner, but that kinda involves me getting over my social anxiety and getting out there. XD

I'm not childfree and feminism isn't a big thing with me, but I'm okay being included, I'm respectful about differing opinions.

Most social justice stuff falls under the feminism umbrella. I probably should rename it that, but, meh. I deal a lot with intersectionality and definitely come from things from a third wave perspective. Unless somebody is a complete asshole (like the guy I banned because he was defending Roman fucking Polanski and claiming Devil's Advocate -- sorry, but there are some things you do not fucking devil's advocate, and that is one of them), I have a lot of tolerance for differing opinions, too. I will, of course, try to explain my side calmly and rationally, but nobody has to agree with me!
