After some negative incidents I've had with people trolling my journal, I've decided to make everything friends only. If you'd like to be added, please comment, and let me know how you found me. :)

Also, please note that I have a filter system for posts. When you comment, please let me know which you'd like to be on. I reserve the right to not put you on one if I'm uncomfortable but I will certainly take everything into account. I put everyone on the Life/General, Writing, and Health filters by default.

Done! I put you on the default filters and those two as well. I haven't written anything in the Sex & BDSM filter in awhile, though; health issues have precluded too much of that activity, sadly. :(

If you got a LJ notification that I friended you and defriended you, it's because apparently the stupid "add friend" on the icon hover does not take you to the page where you select which filters the person should have access to. It was quicker to remove and add from the main page where it does give me that option. Bah. Stupid LJ.

Oh, sure! Lol, I actually remember glancing at your journal when I went to approve your membership (I'm one of the mods over at WL) and thought you sounded pretty cool (pharmacy student? So envious. I'd be pursuing a career there if not for the whole disability thing). Adding you! :D

Also, I'm pretty open about letting folks on filters. I mainly filter because I have anxiety issues around people being squicked out or disliking what I post, so the best way around that was to make it so folks can ask for what they're interested in. I generally will make assumptions on some things depending on folks's profile and interests, but, yeah.

I cannot for the life of me remember if I threw out my default comment to you when we originally friended. Reading this while catching up on the Drama Llama's visit to your stable reminded me, though, so: I always tell people to add me to whatever filters they're comfortable adding me to. I like to know as much about my friends as they're comfortable letting me know. (This means, for example, I'm on a lot of Christian friends' religious filters, even though I'm Pagan; ie, I'm not going to be a giant ass about the subject of a filter just because my stance is different. I still like knowing how the person thinks and feels about that stuff.) So yeah. If I didn't share that before, there ya go. :-)
